Here, you are welcomed with the Sekapur Sirih performance, a graceful and symbolic ceremony that represents hospitality and respect. Dancers dressed in colourful traditional costumes present a betel nut offering, a time-honoured gesture used to honour guests and mark meaningful encounters. This welcoming ritual offers an intimate introduction to Belitung’s traditions and the values that shape everyday life on the island.
