How do our Dual Language Voyages operate?

These voyages are designed to make the onboard experience accessible, inclusive, and seamless for both German and English speaking guests. With our industry leading program running as normal, in addition to the below accomodations made:

  • A German-speaking expedition team member will be on board to assist throughout the voyage.

  • All lectures will be available in German, with live translation provided via a Whisper system.

  • Public announcements will be delivered in both German and English.

  • German-speaking staff will be available on board to support guests as needed.

  • Please note that daily activities are conducted in English. For group bookings, we can review the possibility of German-speaking guides for selected activities.

  • These voyages are especially well suited to groups travelling together and to guests with limited English proficiency, offering added comfort and clarity throughout the journey.
