Experience the vibrant city of Edinburgh before or after your voyage. Jump the queue at the remarkable Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city and dominating the skyline. Stroll the cobblestone streets of the old town, learning about its rich history on a guided walk. With some time at your leisure, perhaps sample some fine Scotch whisky.

Day 1 – Edinburgh

On arrival at Edinburgh airport you will be met by a private transfer driver and taken to your city centre hotel, located in a leafy square away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Spend the rest of the day starting to explore your local surroundings or simply relax at your hotel admiring the stunning views of local parkland.

Day 2 – Edinburgh

Meet up with your tour group this morning and enjoy a tour of Edinburgh’s Old Town which will culminate in a tour of the famous Edinburgh Castle, which dominates the skyline. Skip the queues and enjoy learning about the past secrets of this famous city. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city, perhaps visit the Scotch Whisky Experience which has the largest collection of single malt whisky in the world or wander through Princes Street Gardens drinking in the views up to the castle. Tonight, you can enjoy dinner out at one of the many eateries in the city or perhaps a wee dram in the hotel bar. (B)

Day 3 – Edinburgh

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. If you are joining our Wild Scotland voyage today, you are free to explore the city before transferring to your pre-voyage hotel to check in and meet your fellow expeditioners this evening. (B)
