Thérèse is Swiss and was always up in the mountains, the Alps, since an early age. She has a Master’s degree in media and communication from Switzerland.
She received the famous “polarbug” when she visited Svalbard for the first time in 2010. She returned the following summer and worked on Svalbard as a trekking guide and lived three months in tents.
In 2012 she left Switzerland and moved to Longyearbyen where she studied to become an Arctic Nature Guide. Since then, she works all-year-round as a Kayak Guide, Lecturer, Zodiac Driver and since 2015 as an Expedition Leader on expedition cruise boats in Spitsbergen, Greenland, Antarctica, the Falklands and South Georgia. She also worked as a Snowmobile Guide in Svalbard and Swedish Lapland, where she took her guests out on Northern Light Safaris.
She always has a smile on her face and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge on wildlife, flora and fauna as well as her passion for the stunning polar regions with her guests.
